This practical and aesthetically pleasing set includes hand carved Classic Staunton chess pieces (king height of 3.75″), which we recommend for use on our range of 19″ x 19″ chess boards (sold separately).

Suitable for beginners and more experienced players alike, the simple and practical Staunton style has been recognised as the most traditional piece design since the 19th century. Also included is a solid pine Storage Box for Chessmen which, with hinged lid and green felt lining, is ideal for safe keeping.
